Usually patchwork in clothing looks too loud, however, the Poustovit collection presented as part of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia brought a contemporary twist to patchwork and made it a chic element of clothing. Another element that made this collection work was the soft lace layered over dresses, which added a feminine and delicate touch to them.

Sheer fabrics, maxi lengths and soft textures make this collection an embodiment of femininity and simplicity. In this collection Tsokalenko made an accent on lightweight wools, delicate chiffons and velvets, which added a hint of Russian traditionalism to the outfits. Despite the lack of accessories, decorating elements and frills, each outfit is chic and beautiful due to efficient combination of different textures in one garment.
